How We Met
Like many modern couples, Ryan and Keara met online through Hinge, following a path already taken by Ryan's brother and sister-in-law, as well as Keara's sister and brother-in-law.
The First Date
After exchanging a few messages, they decided to meet in person for the first time at Sloppy's Café in Manhattan Beach. The first date lasted 4 hours, filled with meaningful conversation and even a trip to the aquarium.
The Proposal
On a trip to Maui, Ryan took Keara to Kapalua Bay, where they had snorkeled together earlier in the day, and got down on one knee to propose. Later he took her to a romantic dinner at Merriman's Oceanside where a custom menu was prepared to celebrate. It's a night she will never forget.
The Next Chapter Awaits
The next chapter in our story begins at Bougainvillea Estate in Indio, California, where we will celebrate our wedding surrounded by our closest friends and family. We feel so thankful for each and every one of you who will be there to share our special day with us.
For those of you who don't know Keara, she's the prettiest, most capable person you'll ever meet. She has a knack for adventure and has explored many places in the world, such as Egypt, France, Japan, and many more. Keara is incredibly handy and has taught me a lot about the art of DIY house projects. This has ranged from us replacing a garbage disposal together in record-breaking time, to me coming home some days to find that Keara fully installed our smart lights, automated the Roomba's cleaning system, and 3D printed organizers for all our silverware.
It also goes without saying that Keara is genuinely the sweetest and most caring person in this world. She will always go out of her way to put her friends and family first, making sure they feel welcome, safe, and loved. She has done so much to improve my life, and I couldn't imagine it without her. Love you baby and can't wait to be married to you!
For those of you who do not know Ryan, he is the kindest soul you'll ever meet. A great listener, advice giver, and loving partner. He matches my level of silliness and always knows how to make me laugh (yes, even when I'm hangry).
Professionally, Ryan has an impressive background from game development to military and most recently Quantum Computing. His thirst for knowledge and drive in his career was one of the earliest things that captivated me about him.
